Snow Day!!
Last night the news said we were going to get about 4-6 inches of snow. it’s about 10:30 am and we have about 14 inches!
I just went outside and took some pictures. I <3 snow!
This is right in front of my car. I’m so glad I snagged a spot under the car port.
Those flags are right by the road into the complex.
The bush next to the gate for the pool.
creepy crawly
I was going to post a couple of pictures I took today of a centipede I found in my bathroom sink and fed to the cat (also caught on film) but they are too icky to look at. Maybe in the morning, I don’t want to have dreams of bugs crawling on me.
Edit: finally got the pictures up…
I would like to point out that I didn’t actually feed it to the cat. He came to my rescue and attacked it like a pro. The eating it part was all his idea. I wasn’t going to stop him.
A tale of two pumpkins…
This is my pumpkin. Technically it’s my brother’s. I just borrowed it.

Owen is showing off his normal size pumpkins. Mine, though a little lopsided in the back, was much, much bigger.

so big that Becky had to cut it open with a knife and hammer.

it was like 4 inches thick.

This was it’s insides.

THE END

Oh. the little pumpkin came out very good as well.

Apple Hill
Some of the gang went to Apple Hill this last weekend. I played DD and drove them around to a few wineries, and boy were they fun. We had a picnic, stole some grapes, and they drank a ton of free samples.
At the second winery Allen found a bench to sit on and rest a bit. Apparently it was only a one seater .

The last place we went to served beer as well as wine. The three of them were feeling very good at this point.

This place had some awesome chocolate covered sunflower seeds. They we quite tasty. it was a ton of fun. Definately on the agenda for next year.
